What drives the price

We don't price this from a satellite photo or over the phone. We walk the property, look at the access, the ground and the scope, and hand you a written number. What we can tell you here is exactly which variables move it.

01
Acreage and densityAn acre of light brush and an acre of 8-inch pine are different jobs with the same number on the deed. Density drives this more than size.
02
Mulch in place or haul outMulching is one machine and no trucks. Hauling adds a truck, a driver and a tipping fee on every load.
03
Stump treatmentGrinding below grade for a future slab costs more than surface grinding for pasture.
04
Slope and wet groundSoft ground means tracks not tires, lower production, and sometimes waiting for a dry week.
05
Protected trees and setbacksOrange County tree ordinances are real. Working around a specimen oak with a drip line you can't cross slows everything down.
06
What's already dumped thereOld fence, buried construction debris and dumped tires are a separate line on the quote, not a surprise on the invoice.

Questions

Before you call

No, but we tell you which trees will need one before you apply, so you're not resubmitting to Orange County twice.
Yes, and most owners should. It suppresses weeds and feeds the soil. We spread it to the depth you specify.
Smaller than most people expect, but mobilization is a real cost — getting the machine on a trailer, to you and back. Tell us the size and we'll say straight away whether it makes sense.

Tell us what the job is

Pick everything that applies — you can choose more than one. If your job isn’t on the list, take the last option and describe it. If it takes a machine and an operator, it is almost certainly something we do.

What do you need done? Open a category to pick
Pick as many as apply, from as many categories as you need. A lot of jobs are really two or three of these — clear the lot, grade it, haul the debris. That is the point of using one crew.

We rent bare, to contractors, when a machine is idle. Need an operator too? Use the other tab — that’s a job, and it usually costs you less.
