The jobs that weren't simple

Every job here names the thing that made it hard — the gate, the foundation seven feet away, the drawing that didn't match the ground. That's what you're actually hiring for. An open lot digs itself.

Pool excavation

Backyard pool through a 38-inch gate

The only way in was a side gate too narrow for anything but the smallest machine. We ran the mini and shuttled spoil out to a truck staged on the street — 40% more cycles, but no fence came down and the neighbor never called anybody.

Pool removal seven feet from the foundation

Pulling the shell would have moved ground the house was sitting on. We broke it in sections with the hammer instead, backfilled in 12-inch lifts and compacted. Full removal, documented clean for the sale, not a crack in the house.

Building pad balanced with zero imported fill

The drawing called for 180 yards of imported fill. We reshot the site, found the cut in the back half and balanced it on the lot. The builder saved the entire import line — trucks, material and tipping.

4.2 acres cleared and mulched in place

Twenty years of palmetto and volunteer oak. The owner wanted the organics back in the soil, so nothing left the site — one mulcher, zero trucks, zero tipping fees.

Water service under a paver driveway

Owner didn't want the driveway cut. We bored under it, trenched the rest at grade and put the pavers back exactly as found. Costs more than cut-and-patch; looks like nothing happened.

Block and truss placed over a finished pool

Pool was already shot and tiled, so nothing could cross the deck. The telehandler reached everything from the driveway — one machine, one day, no damage claim.
